How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The answer is always yes but not on the term the other side to loose this right in order we reach an agreement.Unfortunatetly G/cs leaderrsship concluded that the only way to solve CB is to ask their people to change ethincity-

One has to also take into account the north's attitude that should the RoCy lose, they would still have a functioning state, but if the northern administration loses, it loses everything. It makes for a very tough sell.

If the native Indians of the US march to the White House and demand their “inalienable right to self determination” as you call it, do you know what’s going to happen?

The janitor, gardener, and a couple of security guards are going to shove them in a dumpster and push them down a hill!

…because the United Nations has NOT passed an international law that gives minorities an “inalienable right to self determination” as you seem to suggest, quite simply because every Tom, Dick, and Harry would start calling themselves a “minority” and applying for a breakaway state!

The potential for abuse is phenomenal and that is why you'll find that international "Self-Determination" laws are NON-EXISTENT!

Grivas, was very much like Che Guevera; a soldier whose war never ends… the moment a trouble spot would die down they’d sail off to the next!

They didn’t really know what the hell they were doing other than seek military adventure.

GR, you were killing British soldiers, TCs and GCs in the name of self determination and still you sight that as the reason for your struggles. When it suits you you deny that any right to it exists....You can't have it both ways old chum!!!

You don't need a UN resolution to tell you when you're a minority but I’ve heard that basic arithmetic helps in determining it…
