Would that then make me a Pelasgian?

Get out of Cyprus in "angalitsa" with your borthers and sisters "Turks"

Epsilon, you don’t have pure Cypriot blood so what can I possibly do with you other than get you to do my gardening for a pittance? :?

If i can convist you who you are and from where you are coming from i am ready to cooke for you Colokasi every day!!!!

All I’ve got is a gardening vacancy and it’s a toss between you and a Pakistani…

By implication that means you're open to persuasion regarding your roots, right GR?

In any case, your rather unsurprising statement that this issue does not concern me is rather silly considering that (a) this forum is an open one and thus anyone can come in and form an opinion and (b) the only way for the embargo on the TRNC to work is to keep internationalizing the issue. In short, you need international support of your isolation policy. So who is being hypocritical now?

I've shown with your own posts that you are far from impartial. The fact is as an outsider you're very ignorant on the issue, which is amplified with the fact that you're a Kiwi. Both sides have told you that the aim of Taksim was eventually annexation, but you insist on arguing otherwise. So why do you support partition for Cyprus and yet only autonomy for the South Island? You will need to answer that.

And there is no TRNC. There is a self-declared puppet state by that name not recognised by the international community. The embargo does not effect the occupied north. Aid from Turkey, that is double its GDP, assures no one starve in anyway. Neither Greece or Cyprus have that kind of international pull to dictate the embargo. The embargo is in place by the international community to solely to remind the Turks their occupation is against international law.

Epsilon, where I come from anything "Greek" is just gay... so you might want to reconsider flaunting your origins.

Just to add, if it ever comes to the South Island becoming a Maori republic they won't be too happy about that. As the indigenous population they'll be quite annoyed of becoming politically detached to the North Island, which they also consider part of the ancestral homeland. Right? This scenario won;t go down well with them, will it know?
