i was offered £10,000 for my young beagle at Crufts 2 yrs ago! i would never part with her but she has a valuable pedigree, in the UK her puppies would fetch about £1,700 each........i probably will never breed her here, she attracts a lot of attention when we are out [ from mainly Cypriots] who think she might be a hunter, but she'd die of fright at the sound of a gun!..........lol brilliant show dog though, glad to say almost an international champion now too....so its not just hunters worth the high stakes!

Ah we recently bought a miniture dachsund for my mother in law for whopping £1000, she was worth it and stops everyone in the street.

im not a dog person ive been a cat person since i wasa a kid but that dog melt my heart! how cute

yeah she is a so sweet!! when we go to mother in laws house, we go to see the little lady, not the mother in law, she doesnt get a look in, lol!!

we had a basset hound when we were children and when it was walkie time and it was raining or wet, we would tie her ears in a knot on top of her head!!!! memories her name was cressider we called her cressie for short, in think her name meant..friends of the earth

not members of the "bassett " family per se but rather bassetts and beagles are part of the hound group!...............big show in Nicosia [ well 2 actually] in October where we hope? she will gain her titles........we have 3 beagles and 2 american cocker spaniels
