Apropos your post Zan here is a true situation.

A friend called me asking about ways to give wood a perfect finish, namely a walnut gunstock. I mentioned that what is needed is a vacuum chamber in which to place the wood with the preliminary coating so as to drive the finish into the pores and fill them. But where to find a cheap vacuum chamber?

"A penis enlarger is a sort of vacuum chamber" comments my friend, they sell them at the chemists he added.

Yours truly, being a one track mind, imagines a wood gunstock. "Sure , we will need one that can take a 45 centimeter by 14 conetimeter stock".

Choking gurgling sounds come through the phone. I was a little worried as my friend is a photographer and messes with plugs and electric leads for his lighting. Eventually he comes back on line:

"I would love to see the chemist's face when you aske for one that is 45 centimeters by 14" he said and roared with laughter.
