It seems Leonardo da Vinci visited Cyprus in 1481 and took back some Lefkara Lace which he featured in the tablecloth design in The Last Supper ... :D

Get away, it's the Romanian ladies in the back of the house that make the lace.

Yep, Cyprus used to be famous for it's Lace. 8)
