Hala Sultan and Imam Crisis

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I am sure he will (if they insist) and i also beleive that and the political parties (at least the big) will say nothing.

NOthing would illustrate the ethnic complex of the north better than letting everyone do their religious thing, whatever it might be.

In fact from what I read in Politis the moslem, non Cypriot, community in the south is celebrating right now with great attendance at the Nicosia mosque.


I think the point here is that some of these people are Turkish citizens.

Then they stay in the north side of the divide. Turkey does not rocognise the RoC, so its citizens cannot travel to Cyprus without visas.

You can get pedantic about this and say go to a neighboring state that has a Cypriot consulate and ask for a visa and then go to Cyprus etc. But the point is that TCs can visit the south and do whatever lawful act they want.
