Don't make shopping from GC's Side.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Tatar, is penny wise and pound foolish. Thousands of TCs earn their income in the unoccupied areas, and thousands more receive free government services and benefits of all sorts. The RoC earnings from TCs are peanuts compared to what they’re giving them.

Tatar’s income comes from Turkey’s handouts, but who is going to feed the TC public starved from Tatar’s mismanagement of finances?

"It has nothing to do with quality. Its to do with isolation. "

Oh really! What isolation is that then? Your self imposed one? The Green Line regulation can potentially allow all TC products to be sold and exported, but because those products must adhere to EU regulations regarding quality and provenance and in large part, your lot can't stomach this, then you cry foul.

The isolation you percieve is a political one and the only way to solve it is to reach a MUTUALLY acceptable solution to OUR political problem so that both OUR communities can move forward together.

You must realise he has his own agenda not that different to TPapa's agenda.

As I said, Tatar's reaction is a retaliation against a similar action has come from GC side. It has nothing directly to do with other bi-communal relations.

Might it cause other retaliations, such as stopping free services given to TCs, jobs etc from GC side, I don't think so... but in any case TCs r able to find the ways of survival. So, don't worry.

It's about price. The larger and more affluent population in the south means that there are sufficient economies of scale to support large supermarket chains like Orphanides which offer a more attractive range of goods at competitive prices in comparison to what is available in the north.

Tim, don't forget the effect the isolation has on prices.
I gave an example of importing a car to Cyprus.
Price:
GC side 500 pounds
TC side 2000 pounds
Form an English carrier.
It is legalised criminality which ever way you look at it.

Allegedly, GCs collectively lose a fortune in casinos in the north. This helps to balance the account, don't you think?

Post a credible link of a GC politician advising GCs not to shop in the occupied area.

You mean like moving to Germany or the UK?
