-lets for example talk about CF.. u get formurs with all kinds of attitude, nice, kind, rude, funny, skeptical, people who lie,and people who speaks the truth.. why do we get emotionly involved with strangers online, is it us dont we have a life, some one to trust, dont we have healthy relationships or is it the world we live in forces us to share our time, thoughts and even sometimes feelings to complete strangers..
i might sound like a nut case, but im really interesting in knowing what you think about it.. i my self find great company online , i spend lots of time being who i am online cause its hard to speak your mind or be truely free in real world.. are we sick or the world is sick.
In the real world we have many obsticles in socializing, silly things like accents, place of birth and appearance get in the way. Within social networking those boundaries are removed allowing us to simply talk about the subject in hand.
As you probably know, the internet is anonymous in most cases, this causes us to reveal things we would not normally reveal because there is a very slim chance they will come back to haunt us in the real world.
The world is not sick, it just has boundaries in-place. I would like you to think of something for a second...
1 person alone = lonely
1 person talking to another = understanding (in most cases)
1 person talking to 2 people = understanding
many people talking to many people = problem between people
The more people added to the equation the more problems you will have, and the fact that within social networks we can speak one-to-one, or one-to-many makes life easier.
I hope this helps you understand.
