Three British-born Islamic fanatics planned to use liquid explosives disguised as soft drinks to blow at least seven flights out of the sky and cause carnage to rival 9/11 in the U.S.

then the sentiment “the sooner the gov closes the doors to these animals the better” becomes meaningless. They were born in the UK. Anyhow, one should be vary careful about demonising a whole community because of a handful of fanatics. Don’t forget that Hitler came to power by demonising one particular religious group.

Their religion certainly does not originate from the uk.
they are prob on the scam and dont work and take take take from uk tax payers, born in uk or not GET OUT

None of the monotheistic religions originate from the UK, actually. Christianity, for example, originates from what is now Palestine.

Good point. It was under Roman occupation, but it was Palestine.

I think the implication was that those who do not adapt should leave their adopted country. That is not quite the same as everyone.

Rubbish, ashamed not.
I know it would do the country good if the uk gov stopped every tom dick and harry entering the country doing as they please....moving to uk getting a house, recieving a giro cheque once a week, getting their rent paid, all for what, to get off their back sides once a week to visit the local job shop to sign a peice of paper confirmaing they are lazy arseholes and want their money in the form a giro.
The system should be alot stricter to say the least.
my argument about the three bastards on the news with their terror plot, were prob claiming the above, now if the rules were stricter and their parents were not allowed in, in the first place then the uk wouldnt be faced with these sort of problems.
Like Australia, professionals only, no criminal records, no ongoing health problems, and money in the bank to prove they can provide for themselves. without prove of this on paper the answer should be NO.
Its a big problem in the uk and the gov need to toughen up and get them out and send them back to where they came from.

Ah, like most of the Brits in Cyprus have adapted to their adopted country and leaned to speak Greek.

I thought we were down to if you hate the British way of life, then leave. And I don't care whose tag that it, it is a good one.

They can have Southgate back, no problem, if Cyprus gets Akrotiri and Dhekelia back..... and the north too while we're at it, as it was Britain's dereliction of duty to repel the invader that led to its loss... Let me know when we can do a deal.
