Same old scum, the time should soon come when they're all sent packing to the bog holes where they come from.

oh that's a pity. I was going to go on about some info I picked up for the preperation of lime-sticks for trapping little birdies.

Go ahead, you have my permission. :D

Another time mate, I still have one more old timer to interview for a proper report.

They don,t try to change it......Cyprus voted to join the EU, and guess what THEY changed it. Google Bird Directive. The EU made it illegal to trap by nets and limesticks they also put pressure on govts to ban the spring shoot. Welcome to the EU  Much more to come yet :(

I think you will find that "Cyprus" (being the people) never voted to join the EU. It was a decision made by a succession of Governments to supposedly assist us with our National struggle.

Whereas the British people did vote to join the EU and all they do is moan about it. No surprise there then!

The Government is voted in, but in Cyprus people don't vote for a party because of it's policies, they vote for the party that their family has always voted for or the one that can benefit them, or their children.

Don't get me wrong, I am all for being a member of the EU, but not the Johnny come lately's that come here and tell us that we shouldn't behave the way we do "because Cyprus is in the EU now".

Although true, those that do come here and say what they say  can actually do SFA about what they don,t like here, the ONLY powers that can are the Cyprus Govt and now they are skipping hand in hand with the EU. Many good points about the EU but as domestic issue for those of us who choose or not to live under it it becomes almost big brotherish.

And you must know how minorities are pandered too in the UK
