While we are in a French mode, is anyone here champagne intolerant? One sip and I get a massive headache. I heard it happening to other people but never met any.

We all try to do the best we can with what we remember from our GCEs. Though I gotta admit, one week in France I learned more French than in six years of slog. Thanks to the French insistence that in their country you speak their language.

Hunger is a great motivator! Thirst too.

Yup ... I hate the stuff! I think the bubbles make you absorb the alcohol faster ...
