Again its down to us solve the problem. VP its down to both communitys you cant have evrything on plate.

You have stolen the "RoC" and have recognition on your side, you do not posses the attributes necessary to attract or offer TCs a deal they cannot say no to. Its takes vision flexiblity and a desire to achieve such goals and the GCs as we all know are donkeys not race horses.

You're telling me that Turkey and the TC's currently possess vision, flexibility and a desire to close a deal and offer the GC"s a deal they can't say no to?

We are not your PR team trying to sell you anything DT.....We are equal partners trying to find a middle ground....

I'm replying to VP's post about proposing a deal to the TC's that they cannot refuse.

You will be offered a deal you cannot refuse, but the likes of you will not appreciate that until after which will be too late.
  nudge nudge, say no more you know what I mean?

We havent stolen anything you are the ones that stole GC land. So stop the rubbish you are spouting. As I have said many times both sides have blood on their hand. So you need to have vision flexibility and desire to want to solve the problem.

At the end of the day you can continue suffocating in your micro state we will contiune to grow. The choice is your stay as you are of be brave and make some goodwill gestures like handing back the villages you dont use and removing that flag.

If you were to do that then the GC's will start to believe you do want to resolve the issue and you will also see change. But dont just blame us all the time

Re nutter...You are driving a car that has the registration plate that says "Cyprus Republic" on it. It is half blue and the other half red. It has my mothers name above the windscreen. It has my blood on the seat. It has my name in the log book. The tax disk may have run out a long while ago but you will not replace it and are running it with insurance from another car entirely and you are still claiming that you did not steal it from me.....Somebody call the cops......They will be here in how long??

Unfortunately the manufacturers of this car spent nearly 10,000 years making it and they ain't going to give it up to some cheap shoppers from the East ...

... kindly clean off the bloodstains, before returning to the original "one-careful-owner"!

Digging up the past......

Postby cymart » Wed Sep 09, 2009 11:34 am

And too blind to see the advantages of looking forward to a better future...
This seems to be an affliction with Cypriots on both sides who are probably too insecure to risk taking the leap forward into a future that may be unknown but has so many new opportunities.....instead they prefer to hold onto the past which they know, even if it is bad and causing them harm! This place is full of these kind of people-armchair patriots who shout nationalist slogans and rubbish, blame everyone else for their mistakes, including the foreigners while their own children go to the American Academy and the English school etc!(I can name a few if anyone doesn't believe me!).
They once had a good tourist product with quality hotels and tavernas that people were glad to spend money on,but instead ignored advice to keep it that way and have now ruined everything with their greed and lack of vision!
There is no easy way out of the impasse and the only thing that will teach them is wisdom gained from reflections on their experiences, but who knows when??

I have read so many similar postings to this one on this site during the last
two years since I joined and what have they proved, other than that people are still using the blame game to support what they cannot otherwise justify....????
