I don't think so mate........ My husband needed treatment when we lived in cyprus last year and we paid for it. Unlike some who get on planes to England and are taken ill in mid flight or ass they touch down at the airport, seen that before.

No, they are tightening up on Brits that have paid their taxes and national insurance for 40 years, but have now lived outside the country for 3 months. No more treatment for them!

I sincerely hope that I am proved wrong.

Cyprus is either ill equipped to deal with certain conditions and send her patients primarily to the UK or the treatment is very very expensive.

I currently have a relative staying with me at the moment whose child is receiving treatment at Great Ormond St Hospital, they don't seam to be having issues coming over to this "shithole".

CBBB, I agree with you that if this is true, the stance on this by the UK Government is outrageous.

I sincerely hope your relatives child gets well soon and wish them all the best. But I can't help thinking that the UK is a shithole especially where I come from.

Thank you lioness and I will.

I live in London and yes ... I see things that irritate and frustrate me, but never let it get to me as there are a lot of great things about it too.

I can understand the lure of Cyprus, it's beautiful.
