Not that I drink water, but the tap water here is as good as it is in the UK (unless you live in Mammari, which gets it's water from boreholes, not the mains supply).

In the UK the local authoities clear all the rubbish away - wasn't there a thread recently about the amount rubbish piles in Cyprus?

I wouldn't deny that there are pockets in the major cities of the UK that can be described as shitholes, but ...
