Everyone is fed up with Turkish Games.

In any event this is meant to be a Settlement for CY drawn up by CYs.

Halil, don't prepare them to attack, as they hate Bayrak so much, let them be gently and suddenly shocked but PM us so that we have more time to prepare for the counter attack.
It's strange when it suits our GC cousins, they expect outside interference, and when it doesn't they don't. Very interesting concept of unashamed display of double standards if ever I saw one.

The GC papers I read today do not have any such info. The major news is the coming territorial proposals and property issues.

The fact is that so far the TC side has secured the concessions if wanted in the constitutional issues, ie equality of the two communities. The GC side has secured none of its requirements. In other words there has not been a single concession from the TC side.

If it turns out another version of "masters in the north, partners in the south" it is not going anyplace fast no matter who gets involved.

Gents the talks are going nowhere. Talat has no say in anything so you can forget about a vaible solution. The only way we will ever get back our land is by force. Which isnt going to happen. So I say let the TC's rot in their illegal state close the border and let see what happens to them.

Turkey will only play ball when it suits them. So maybe stopping the TC's from working in the ROC might force their hand and when they get sick of coughing up more and more money to support the TC's we just might get a soultion that is acceptable.

In the mean time our people should then start taking all their claims to the ECHR so no more land is sold of no money coming into North Cyprus means time will get harder and harder. lets see if the thieves enjoy that?

UN plans ARE the games Halil!

Had people been fed up of games they wouldn’t be considering “UN plans” but the respect for the sovereignty of Cyprus under democracy, and the implementation of international law.

Games, are when some fools (including UN officials) think that political arrangements that violate the UN Charter can be implemented… under the UN!

I had stated this before when it was announced a while back by Turkey/Talat duo, that the UN may send a proposal in the form of another "Annan Plan", which would be a way for Turkey and Talat to save face with their own people before December's deadline for Turkey with her EU talks and opening of her ports to the RoC by saying, "look, this is not our plan but the UN's, and since we accepted the first Annan Plan we should also accept the second "Annan Plan", which of course, the second "Annan Plan" will not look anything like the original Annan Plan, but in the psyche of the TCs, anything that has Annan Plan in the title, will go down well with them. Why do you think the UBP keeps on saying they will not accept a plan drafted by outsiders, but only a plan drafted by Cypriots. Is it because he knows that the second UN's "Annan Plan" will not be the same as the first one. This is the only way Turkey and Talat can save face by blaming the UN for making compromises to the GCs, so before YFreak starts celebrating in any new “Anna Plan” as if it was the second coming of the original Annan Plan for a settlement, he should read the fine prints first.!

Isn't that exactly what the UN does, whenever the interests of one of the permanent members or their friends' is concerned.

Are you not being a tad naïve regarding the respectability of the UN and International law.
My trust in the UN and its ability to apply true international law and true justice has never faltered

That's fantastic news Halil! As has already been said it would be difficult for the UN to offer a plan that goes against the principles of their own charter, they tried it before and it was democratically rejected.
