A Turkish Cypriot athlete Yigitcan Hekimoglu has wan silver and bronze medal at Balkan Youth Athletics Championship

Because of ambargoes to Turkish Cypriots Yigitcan was running under the Turkey's atletic federation.he run for Turkey at 100 meters and 4x100 meter races.
