This is not the correct one- Dalaras changed the words-saying "omorfoulla"

Just one word difference doesn't make the song not correct ;) I guess they changed that word to make it more politically correct...

You are right of course but this small change is not in the spirit of my post above for anthem!!!the case of course was to joke with Halil.

Congratulations to one more Cypriot who achieves excellence.

We can do what the Australians did and adopt a folk song for an anthem, ie Tyllirkotissa. It has the added advantage of being in Cypriot dialect, bilingual and free of blood curdling verse. Neither mainland Greeks or Turks understand it, which is an additional plus.

Well , i can imagine EU Parliament if our anthem , for a reason, has to play.The building will be full of souvlas and French etc will dance the Tylirkotissa!!!!
