and now for the british bases.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Dear MicAtCyp

I have some problem with the English language. I know what deported and Cyprus means, but I don't know what FU2 means. Do you mind clarifying?

Yes, I do mind.

By the way and only because you have told me you "have some problem with the English language," the correct way of asking your question would have been to type "would you mind clarifying?" Would (modal verb) is a request, which befits a question you desire an answer to; whereas "Do" (is an auxiliary verb) and is used in negative questions or orders.

I guess Mr. Semmens is still trying to find the matching words to excuse his nick name which was obviously created to mean: "Deported, fuck you too Cyprus"

I know but as you can see there is no possibility to split the topic. Most replies refer to both the British bases and the matter of deportation of Mr Brian.Erolz tried to split one topic and became a total mess.

Moving swiftly back to topic... the SBAs... are there any figures on their cost/benefit to the Cypriot economy? Don't know if anyone's ever done a cost/benefit analysis of them.

Who ever comes up with some figures better take into the account the loss of UK funding for economic development and educational grants. The US would look at shaving off some of the 30.5 million in economic aid alone if the bases disappeared.

Brian, excellent answers and replies concerning the earlier questions.

And oh by the way, those bases will be British ....... until hell freezes over.
