Erdogan says Turkey's Cyprus Policies are in right track.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Erdogan says Turkey's Cyprus Policies are in right track.

With right policies TC's never before gain so much, the sympathy, support and respect of the international community.
With this right policies ,TRNC has opened representation offices in more than 20 countries, has gained observer status at the Organization of Islamic Conference and is referred to within the organization as the Cyprus Turkish State. The respect and knowing TRNC President Mehmet Ali Talat had earned from the international community today was incomparable to any other TRNC President or official in the past.

I don't understand a thing he's trying to say! It's great!

Next step ... insistence on halil posting in Turkish ... so that we can completely ignore his posts!

Opa, that last one sounded like a veiled threat. Are you planning a takeover of Paphos? A new peace operation Halil?

Oracle you have provoked the forces of peace! It is all your fault.

The TCs must be assumed to be total idiots to believe such crap. Does mr E really think he is going to impress people who can walk across the Green LIne and get an EU passport, with rep offices in Azerbaijan and elevated status of Talat at the Islamic nations conference?

Who does he think he is dealing with! He does not know Cypriots obviously.

Our experience in CY this past August comfirms what Halil posts.

We tend to spend some time in Larnaca cos Mrs C has relatives who took refuge in '74 in the old tissy quarter behind the mosque there and we like to take a late evening stroll down Phinikouthes or eat out at CY restaurants along the front towards Mackenzie.

This year we saw markedly more, far more than in previous years, tissies out for an evening stroll along the front. Indeed, take it from your honest Reporter, there were more of them than grissys. The large mosque there, although there was no "call for prayers" of course, was popular.

We understood that some had moved back in to their old homes in the tissy quarter ... and so they should, and I don't have a problem with that leaving aside any matter of possible double-dipping, CY/EU citizens enjoying their properties and living in peace as they have every right to do as full and equal partners in the Republic, and doing so without special privileges, without guarantees etc.

Hold on a minute. TCs living safely among other Cypriots as equal EU citizens? Without guarantees from Turkey? This sets a very dangerous precedent if you ask me. Don't they realise what damage they are doing to Turkey's cause? Traitors, the lot of them.
