... and for the sake of balance and perhaps make our DT a little happier ...

Both Mrs C's parents played their part in the National Struggle of the late '50s and received scrolls of honour and medallions in recognition of their services.

I have one of these scrolls in front of me. It reads (in gr) ...

Timitiko Diploma awarded to xxxx for services in the Abeleforotiko Ayona EOKA 1955-1959 and is dated 1.4.05 and stamped with the late former Pres TPap's signature.

Thanks koumbaro. It is a bit of a struggle with me between the pushtoenglesso in me and the CY genes. My way out of my predicament is to look to personal conscience.

Bill

Is that not a little harsh "Pushtoengleso", why not just say the Anglo in you & maintain a degree of dignity.

Alternatively (unless it is a joke) stand up & say exactly what you mean in order for people to know exactly where you are coming from.

I must confess I despair at some of the wingeing Brits I come across but to be fair & objective they are in the minority, albeit a very vocal minority; I have found the majority to be a very amiable, friendly bunch who have contributed their life's savings and assets to this Country of ours in exchange for a life we were encouraging.

I am certain not all English males are homosexual, I know some who are but there again I know Cypriots who are. My personal view is that their orientation is for them to resolve, as human beings they are fine.

I am hoping your words were chosen in jest as your previous posts give no indication of homophobia. Likewise I trust you take this post in the spirit it is intended, with the best of intentions.

All the best.

Pushtoenglezo refers to a group of people with special tax obligations.

Go here and check the "menu".

Hello Michael

Nothing more than a bit of humour aimed only at myself and my own situation I assure you.... with no sexual meaning whatsoever.

The “PoustoEnglezi” club is one of the forum’s political pressure groups bridging GB with Cyprus, which includes non-juvenile delinquents such as RichardB, BillC, CBBB, and a few others.

Their strategy mainly revolves around wearing down their opponents with stories of their lives, badly written Tsatista, incessant moaning, and serious local beer consumption sending shockwaves through the Cyprus stock exchange.

Well, well well ... you do manage to do some reading. Next time try something other than "The Daily Mail".

Leaving aside your insensitivity to your host country's history of being raped by the likes of you (and I don't mean all Brits ... but just the likes of YOU) since you've been slated on this by all and sundry on this forum ... It is your general moral deprivation which is most striking.

Your attitudes question your "femininity" not least due to the kind of female-aimed degrading language you choose. You have once again shown how uncharacteristic of women you are. I know of few women who praise the use of the gun and ascribe to it the degree of 'manliness' you seem to associate with its use, as well as resorting to jingoism about using weapons to destroy smaller, weaker countries. Let's hope a few suicide bombers don't put the whole of the UK on her knees again. What stupidity you fester.

Using a gun is no more likely to make you a "man" as using a hairdryer is to make you a hairdresser ...

You are a disgrace to the majority of Brits and your are a complete disgrace to women and mothers!

I'm trying to work out whether you are unintelligent or just plain ignorant, either way your post has made me sick to the stomach. Go and educate yourself.
