Denize dushen yilana sarilir. You should be able to understand that.

Dont get me involved with this shitbag Yfred.

Have you never worked in drainage?

NO!!! Onlymet them here on the forum.

Just one little mishap at Limnidi and see what happened to the Cypriots on the forum. How the hell are we going to live together in Cyprus? The slightest thing and it will be torn apart, I fear.

If not in Cyprus, we will screw each other in the UK and else where.

That is the strangest thing. We have lived next door to GCs in London through all the troubles and I don't remember any problems in London.
Perhaps they should all move to London. That will solve it.

You surprise me! You have just given us a big list of reasons why the settlers must be faced like a special case, notwithstanding that colonisation is a war crime, but you have nothing to say about expatriate Cypriots who were forced by the situtation to leave.

So why are the settlers more deserving than people like Bir, and Kikapu, and Umit, and myself, who want to come back if the situation ever changes? ? Can you explain your thinking Halil?

For u or others there is no problem for coming to Cyprus Nikitas .
Bigest argument is about settler goes on in Talks or in our daily life.

what ever happened in Cyprus is the results of the break of the ROC since 1963 Nikitas . Lots of our people left the island between 1963-1974.
why all they left the Cyprus ?
lots of reasones they have
*for security of their lifes.
*to get better jobs.
*to get better education.
*they were lost their homes , be came refugee........... etc ....etc.........

Again someone brought those people here for many reasones or plans .

they settle down here and great numbers of them married to Turkish Cypriot ladies . They had their own kids .

Some of the settlers brought here with their families ...they also had kids and their kids are married to Turkish Cypriots . these groups kids they have no idea about Turkey .They educated in here even they speaks with Turkish Cypriot accent also they do their military services in the Turkish Cypriot security forces .

And u or others wants them to be kicked out from the Cyprus .

If it is a war criminal to bring them it is not the individuals fault Nikitas .

What else i was trying to point out in here was as long as Cyprus problem goes on unsolved u will face with unanswearable questiones.

The results of a crime do not make things right. An innocent buyer of stolen goods does not get title to them, they are returned to their true owner Halil.

Those who married TCs have the right to stay as would any foreigner who marries a Cypriot.

The rest get compensation and go home. These people did not materialise out of thin air, they came from some place where they had homes, family, jobs etc. Whatever hardship they endure will be compensated.

Letting settlers remain with full political rights will create a HUGE problem, firstly within the TC community and secondly over the whole island.

You must realise Halil that the prospect of having a non native Cypriot in high elected office will diminish the authority of the government instantly. Just ask yourself, and please be honest, how you would feel if the president of the Federal Republic werw a mainland Greek?

If you are honest with yourself then you know how GCs feel about settlers.

Who was that Armenian minister that you were boasting about a little while ago???? You didn't think that that would be a red rag to us but offered him to us as the possibilities of democracy.....Taking into account the Turkish Armenian history that is....Have I just opened the flood gates

Are you also able to accept COMPENSATION for GC property while you are going down that line???

The Armenian CYPRIOT is Karoyan and he was the speaker of the house or parliament. He is a born and bred CYPRIOT.

You are deliberately avoiding the question, both of you.

How would you feel about a president of the federal republic of Cyprus being a mainland Greek born in GREECE and naturalised Cypriot?

And no, I do not want long rationalisations, I want your emotional reaction to such a possibility.

My gut reaction to any non Cypriot official would be to subvert and boycott him at every opportunity. Clear, honest, straight. That is how I feel. That is how most Cypriots feel and I have asked a few both TC and GC.

There is no need to get that far. It is possible to accomodate everyone without giving any non Cypriot power in Cyprus. Personally I would have no objection to an elected TC president, and I can think offhand of three people who inspire me more than any GC for that post. But settler, no way, never!
