IF we were to enforce, without exception, the Forum rules about not promoting illegal activity and IF we define all activities within the 'TRNC' and by Turks as illegal, we will not have much left to discuss. We would all be saying how righteous the ROC is - and nodding our heads, sagely.

In my view, we must allow such 'propoganda' otherwise this would be a very dull place. We would have to rely on 'Milti v GR' for our amusement!

On the contrary, such blatant propaganda, in these copious quantities dulls discussion and reduces the CyProb to one of "housekeeping" i.e. we are constantly trying to dust off such returning dirt.

Perhaps it is time to move to a fresher atmosphere, without commercial adverts for the "TRNC" courtesy of halil/BAYRAK, and maybe develop some real arguments to challenge our thinking!

I have contacted Admin already about this and everybody should do the same to put some pressure on him. Bayrak has its own website, TV stations and Radio Stations. What more "free speech" do they want for themselves? Can I use the website, tv and radio stations of Bayrak to promote my views? Apparently not! They don't allow free speech to me from their channels. So why should we allow Bayrak propagandists to turn this forum into another Turkish propaganda medium to promote their illegalities against our country?

Grow up Sotos, you accuse Bayrak and you want to do the same as what you accuse Bayrak of doing. You will never make sense in a hundred years.

It is not the same Halil can post his OWN views here. But at Bayrak they don't allow me to promote my own views in their tv,radios and websites! So why should Bayrak post their articles in our forum? They have their own website, radios and tvs so they should post their crap there.

I think you are comparing chalk with cheese. This is on open bicommunal discussion forum, while Bayrak is the broadcasting station of the self-proclaimed TRNC. A more accurate litmus test would be whether Halil could post at CYBC’s website:

Incidentally, I have in the past tried to post comments about stories at the BBC website. None of them has ever been screened. I am not screaming ‘conspiracy’. Obviously they receive a lot of comments and these are screened and a small representative sample are actually posted on the site.

Do you see any employee of CyBC in here posting their articles? As you said it is a discussion forum. In discussion forum you post your own opinion and you discuss! You don't copy-paste propaganda given to you by your boss!!!

I agree with Oracle!! This is the Cyprus Problem not a fun park and not a place to copy-paste propaganda!!! I say ban bayrak like they banned my comments from their site. If Halil wants to post he has to write on his own. If anybody has a problem with this then they can fuck off. Those are the same people who are here just to push their propaganda and we will never agree with them on anything. So if they leave from here that means one less place for them to post their propaganda and the forum will lose nothing and will become better.

There won't be a united Cyprus until the Nazi regime in the north capitulates, Goebbels is out of a job and you stop swallowing and spreading the regime's propaganda; so don't worry about it.
