Liberté, égalité, fraternité ...

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

In fact, I quite fancy a short holiday in a Heviz Spa right now (perhaps wait until the weather warms up over there tho!)

Baths- common heritage of Turks and Magyars. Törökorszag loves her Attila brothers.

I've found Hungarians of all ages to be some of the friendliest people I've met when travelling. And can say the same for the Lebanese. Very hospitable to visitors.

I met a Hungarian musician a long time ago. We talked about music especially Bela Bartok. He would often express his delight of the kinship felt between the Hungarians and Turks; And that was after we talked about Mohacs.
Linguistically the Turkish language and the Hungarian/Magyar languages are supposed to be akin to each other but what the heck I could not find a single word in common apart from Attila.

I have never met one which I did not like.

RIP George Halasz.

You'll hear many made up south cypriot stories on this forum. Imagination has no limits.

What's this desire to prove you're popular with Hungarians all of a sudden, runaway? (Believe me, they don't like you. I never met one with a nice word to say about Turks - even I had to defend you against some of the revulsion expressed).

So whatever happened to "nobody likes us, we don't care?" approach.

If you want the world to like you, the best way is to be a little more... er... likeable?

I haven't met a single Magyar who likes Greeks / south cypriots. And as you might imagine, I did NOT defend you. Keep on " we're nobody, and the world does not give a shit about us." approach as it truly describes your position.

Listen runaway, I don't understand who you think you can convince that the Turks are loved as the proofs against such blind love are all over the forum.

As to whether Greeks are loved or not; that is irrelevant, because we persuade with justice, fairness and truth. It is the Turks, who rule with FORCE, that need all the allies they can fool into loving them.

French carrier arriving in Limassol

LIMASSOL – The French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle will be sailing into Limassol port Friday where it will remain until Thursday, March 18.

While in Cyprus, the French carrier and the National Guard will be carrying out search and rescue exercises, air transport manoeuvres and military drills in the context of a defence agreement signed in 2007, between Cyprus and France.

Defence Minister Costas Papacostas, accompanied by National Guard Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Petros Tsalikides and Defence Ministry Permanent Secretary Petros Kareklas, was expected to board the ship today (Thursday) to watch an aircraft take off and landing demonstration, at the invitation of Admiral Philippe Coindreau.

Just seen it on the news...all 300 metres of it. You know with the Queen of Spain over and this aircraft carrier holding joint exercies with the NG I reckon this would be the best time to try our luck
