What you have mentioned above is negligible compared to the damage you are doing with the economic isolation. Secondly, you are not doing it as a good will gesture, but because the EU would come on to you like a ton of bricks, if you discriminated against TCs on account that they lived in the north.

There's nothing to suggest that something like that would help. On the contrary, we have seen countless times that Turkish Cypriots are swift to take advantage of an offer and then stab the RoC in the back; see failed attempted Limnitis crossings for two years in a row.
