The border has never been shut or can never be shut by the roc. It was Denktash who both shut it and opened it. You try shutting it and see what happens.

The RoC can announce the closure of the roadblocks for a day, a week, or even indefinitely, purely for “technical reasons”.

If pressured to give a reason they can manufacture any story they like from… too many illegal immigrants slipping through, to some serious drug and/or weapons trafficking story… big deal!

It has been done yesterday at Metehan check point Greek Cypriot police slow down the paper works and most of the cars waited hours to pass from the boarder.

Both side can find many excuse to close the boarders and give hard times for civilians . It will not surprised .BUT all these stupid actions of both sides leadership only helps to loose trust between the sides. We are going towards the permanently division .

I never wish for division . many times i said in here my wishfull solution is BBF and never hide it .That is the system which our leaders are talking at the moment .This is the way how i look at the solution of the Cyprus problem .
