The bi-communal missing persons commitee will investigate the report/allegations. Then we will decide believe or not to believe that TC. Satisfied? We don't have to believe every allegations made by so-called eye witnesses.

Whole world knows what is what. They know how GOG and GC political groups abused the extra-ordinary political circumstances especially in Greece to gain legitimacy for the so-called RoC.

The author is a very well knowledged, brave, honest and unbiased GC academician.

Insan, this article does not disprove anything about Turkish Cypriots colluding with the British, or the Embassy bombings. In fact, much of what is written supports what GCs already know. The author is arguing that Greece was too weak to push for enosis in the 1950s, and that Britain's policy was to hold onto Cyprus, and hence it brought Turkey into the game. The main difference here is that this author prefers not to call British actions a "conspiracy" but more a "necessity" to maintain its Empire. It is just this author's personal view. The RoC can announce the closure of the roadblocks for a day, a week, or even indefinitely, purely for “technical reasons”.

If pressured to give a reason they can manufacture any story they like from… too many illegal immigrants slipping through, to some serious drug and/or weapons trafficking story… big deal!
