Apprently a group of Shia muslims were travelling up from Limassol to get revenge for the beating they got 4 nights ago.

Be carefull DT .......don't say anything about them, next one might be u ....

My favourite bars are in there and these idiots made the place look like a war zone last week.

I was joking DT. I tell u worse days are waiting u all i can say.

U telling us we are getting minority in North .... wait for 6-7 years DT , we will see how u will be minority as well in your part . how most of the small shops will cahange hands too . Your youngs will have hard times to get jobs . Only one way will be for them to get goverment job or left the island .

Thats not whats happening Halil. These are not university graduates living in old Nicosia. They moved there because they found a vacuum left by CYpriots when they moved out. The police conducts illegal immigrant sweeps nearly every month in old nicosia deporting 100's at a time, most of which are smuggled from the occupied territory.

You won't see press releases in our newspapers about 15,000 new ID's given to immigrants as it happens over in your end Senior Halili

Could it be a provocation of Oracle?

The Shia have always had a habit of obstructing Sunni prayer sebrvices. Even during the Hajj - they ar wont to stir trouble by spitting at Hz Omars tomb thus commiting offence to the Sunni. The follwing bloodshed normally results in hundreds killed. Nothing new here. As if Cyprus has not its own problems, now we have (the RoC esp) the 'blood thirsty Shia to contend with.

Who needs religion.

Omeriyye district used to be the 'red-light' area. Students were banned from entering the zone. Red lights should come out again and ban these 'worshippers'.

The most famous hooker Cyprus has ever known. I remember being around 10-11 years old and cycling round Soutsou Street with my mates to catch a glimpse of this mythical creature. Sure enough one day we saw her sitting outside on one of those straw chairs....wasnt a day over 70  and had a moustache that Kolokotronis would have envied.
