I dont wish to be the Muhtar of the underground village.
Ben hiç ağnayamdım vallai ne demeg isdeng be Dengiz? Ma ne underground village i yau ama... muhdar mı olmag isdeng biceez yere? Hocalıg yapmak neyinge yetmedi olan?
underground village = tahtali koy
see: taht el-bahr (tahtelbahis) Deniz alti/submarine.
Taht = underneath.
isn't the translation of Tahtalı köy, "coffin - ie" aka Köfünye.
Certainly not. As I said, Tahtali koy is a corruption of Tah el-koy. Underground village.
If you remember, traditionally Moslems are not buried in a coffin, but in a shroud only. The deceased was carried to the cemetery in the one and only coffin (stored in the mosque behind the mihber). Then the deceased was placed in the grave by manual means.
Thats why I cited the old Turkish word for submarine which means under(taht) water / sea (bahs). You get Tahtelbahir. Ask daddy if possible.
