At the very least they should have allowed those people to do the pilgrimage in their own homeland and stop pretending that they own a territory which actually belongs to Republic of Cyprus.
This is yet another criminal action of the foreign invaders who prevented the Cypriot people to move freely in their own country, even for a one day pilgrimage.
I am angry at the cancellation of this pilgrimage, but if Turkey stopped the GC's visiting their churches, how would the Turks benefit from this? It would be shooting themselves in the foot, wouldnt it? I am in no way of supporting Turkeys actions; as far as I am concerned even 'lists' should be unnecessary.
Neither Turkey, nor TCs canceled anyones pilgrimage, Deniz. The ones who didn't want to show their ids couldn't pass the check points. The ones who showed their ids passed the check points and joined the pilgrimage.
