Got paid today and see that my salary's about 75 Euros less than it was. Seems that the communist government have decided that COLA should be adjusted down. Hmmmm. Let's see: petrol prices, milk, bread, pork, water, electricity,etc., etc. all seem to have gone up. Since our fine communist president lives in a fantasy world perhaps the price of 7 series BMW's went down and he think that makes the cost of living cheaper in Cyprus. Anyone have any clues on what prices went down? Besides of course those houses and apartments without title deeds that can be claimed at any time by the bank who holds the developers' unpaid mortgages. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U66rzHtW2qQ

Yup! Sickles, Vodka, red coloured garments, and Russian CDs and newspapers are down... think of the savings!

you could always work at paphos international airport, they give you a cola alowance to the value of approx 120 Euros :lol:

Not anymore. Check your pay. I think you'll find they cut it.

So for the first time COLA has gone down, and everyone is complaining!!!! COLA should be a abolished as it causes prices to rise, it doesn't react to them.
