You've missed my point about confusion with modern Greece which describing yourself as "Greek" or "Hellene" causes but calling yourself Cyprian doesn't - but gives you all of your ancient heritage and more!

Thanks. I am moved that an Athenian would wish to bestow this honour on me, a lowly UK-born Cypriot "vragas", of unknown origins (beyond his great-grand parents). I know how important being a "Hellene" means to many of the proud citizens of Greece; how preoccupied they are with their illustrious ancient heritage and how reluctant (usually) they are to share such an honour with individuals beyond their shores.
