GC prisoners of war were killed with a sword bayonet

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

As this item came out of Afrika, does it mean that they are against solution too. They must know the effect this will have on the GC community at a time when they will be asked to vote on the solution at the end of this year.

What's Afrika playing at.

News needs to be told as is, as long as it has credible sources to their reporting. If investigative reporters did not report their findings, then there never would have been "Watergate“,“ Torture pictures from Iraq", "Horrors of Vietnam" and so on. You cannot hold credible news back, just because it may reflect badly on a country whose soldiers may have carried out these atrocities. If one commits the crime, then they should at least be held accountable, if they are not made to do the time.! You should be proud that Africa has reported it. Now, if you want to disprove Africa's news, then start digging the beaches of Girne and see what comes up. It is a fact is it not, that 1500 GCs are still missing, presumed dead along with the missing 600 missing TCs, also presumed dead. So what's not to take these reporting at face value when so many people are still missing and presumed DEAD.!

I am not against any credible news, so long as it is the truth. But to print such an article before the truth of it can be established suggests that they have an anti-current negotiations motive, particularly 2 days before the final negotiations begin.

If you are interest in finding all the missing on both sides, punishment of these people will not help. What will help is a truth commission with immunity so people can own up for what they have done and where they buried them, so that all the missing can be found and all their relatives can have closure.

It is surprising that some cannot see why Afrika is publishing these items now.

It is obvious to the TC left, more so than to the average TC, that any future settlement will marginalise them. We all know how Cyprus works, and how it will work in the future. At least the GCs have the EU keeping them somewhat in line. The TCs will claim a special status, stay outside Eu guidelines and proceed with heavy duty cronyism, nepotism, partisan motives to apportion government jobs (which include teaching and univerity posts) both in the communal as well as the national federal level. And having naturalised a majority of foreigners as TCs it is obvious that the TCs will be third class citizens under any future settlement. First will be the GCs and naturalised settlers, then will be the institutionalised minorities like the Armenians, Maronites, Latins and Rom, and at the bottom of the totem pole will be the TCs, for whom ironically this whole fiasco was organised.

Now you understand why Afrika is stirring things?

So do you agree, they are trying to stop the negotiations or at least get a negative vote from the TCs.
