Only in Cyprus......

In the middle of a housing area the Pyla council have dumped tens of thousands on tonnes of rubbish and set it on fire. The smoke is making my family ill.....

This has got to be a breach of european law if not local laws

Anyone know who is the best person/department to complain to?

Fire Station, Police and then Health Services... you can also call Perdikis (Green Party), he loves popping up in such incidents to have his word... even tho sometimes is irrelevant to an actual event

Complaints should be made to the Pyla (shire) council where a "dimarhos" (like a Mayor) should be in charge. Ask who the person is and go see him about it.
