They (the EU) offered each and every Cypriot living in the north an opportunity to be a European Citizen - with exactly the same rights as each and every Cypriot living in the south - and they haven't renaged on that promise. And they gave it in writing, to the Republic, a document which it signed.

How do you know that? how many Tcs live in Turkey? can you give us official figures? if not then you are talking crap. As for residing in an EU member state dontconfuse this with the EU body itself and the officals that run it, 2 different things. Just come clean the EU and their empty promises cannot be trusted.

not really, they never will.. they will keep pushing for two states make sure there is never a solution so they can hopefully get what they want... but it will never happen...

the laws put by the eu to get out of cyprus have been there way longer then any promises you claim eu made to turkey... plus they dont recpognise trnc so there really was no promise to a state they dont recognise..

so they can turn around and say bye when they get what they want.. no one is falling for turkeys tricks
