How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

"these children were Turkish children"
This was the point that I dreaded to raise for fear of the repercussions.

So the target of this propaganda, you are saying, was mainland Turkish public opinion and the aim was to get Turkey to intervene. It was necessary to have a really effective photograph that would appear in all the mainland Turkish newspapers and inflame the passions of people there. To this end, a little doctoring was in order. The end justified the means. This all makes sense. Thank you.

Well, I had the odds at 50-50 for EOKA-B and TMT as to who may have committed these murders, but reading YFreak's explanation above, it now puts the TMT a nose ahead as being the culprits.!

Does that upset your and your bum chums' theory of Turkish expansionism? There you gays are claiming that Turks were in control all along and the TCs had no say and yet TCs managed to pull Turkey into protecting them and just in time too, judging by the activities of greeks in Bosnia..

Shitface, you are not just an ordinary pratt, you are what is known as squaring the circle prize pratt. That you accuse people with no evidence is just beyond belief. What about the other 200 odd that were killed? Were they killed by the TMT?
I am inclined to believe that DTs relatives got rather careless not just killing women and children but the family of a high ranking Turkish officer. Now, calling it careless just doesn’t do it any justice, it was dammed stupid. And it cost them dearly.

A word of advice to you YFreak. Don't try to be too clever by trying to put too many topics all in one post. You are not smart enough to do that. All you are doing is creating a mixed salad, or in your case, a mixed up brain. Stick to simple things at one topic at a time, otherwise you'll end up hanging yourself with your own rope like you did by implicating the TMT for murdering those in the bathtub and now you are trying desperately to separate yourself from it, but it is too late, because if God gave you a brain, you would be fucking dangerous. Thank God for small favours I say. You created the circumstantial evidence directing the blame towards the TMT, not me asshole, as to the reason why they are leading by a nose. It is still very close so don't get your YFronts in a twist, even though I'm sure you wear it front to back, just to make it a little easier for your friend Bobby Brown.!!!!

Hey, YFreak, when you use the term “bum chums”, are you using my definition or VP’s.??

Lets see you hanging yourself again with this one also, asshole.!

By the way, Bobby Brown says "Thank you Fred"!

Well it all makes sense now.

The TMT killed these Turkish children, then re-arranged them and with ready-to-hand cameras, proceeded to photograph them. And now the Turkish authorities are continuing to use them for propaganda purposes to perpetuate the myth of what the GCs are "capable" of, and would have done, had Turkey not killed thousands of them to secure nearly half of Cyprus as free from GCs for the pleasure of the TCs ... oh, and Settlers + 40,000 Turkish troops, of course!

Didn't Jonathan Creek play this out in one of his episodes... :?

The captain of precinct 21 wanted to get married but had to get rid of his existing wife first. How to do this? Look to the furthest reaches of the Empire and find a troubled spot and then move the whole family there. After a few drinks, start a war and then persuade the governor that killing your wife and children, and a few others that might be there, is in their interest. The trouble is how to get the survivors to lie for you as well....To cut a long story short....It all went well but just one mistake gave the game away......Somebody moved the bodies and took a picture from the wrong angle....Good old Jonathan.....Used to go to school in my area you know....

Tim asked:

"How accurate a portrayal of this period do you feel is given in Martin Packard's new book, 'Getting It Wrong'?"

In the parts relating to Famagusta, where we lived till a few weeks before the outbreak of hostilities, Packard's depiction is 100 per cent accurate. The police officer in charge of preparations was indeed Pavlos Pavlakis and the rest of the personalities involved are accurately protrayed.

In the case of Lurgina it is interesting to note that the TMT irregulars were the more aggressive side, often initiating the attacks.

Overall the events as Packard portrays them are a far cry from ethnic cleansing as some here like to repeatedly shout. In most cases the issues were resolved and then came the sudden change in policy, instituted by the British via general Carver. Interesting name that, the man who carves. They really carved us up!

Look up the photograph of the slain Androulla Christodoulou in Yalousa, late August 1974. If that is your antidote to the dead childrens photo, then you definitely have a lot to teach us about barbarity.

What were DT's Eoka relatives doing at the time, playing Tiddlywinks? I think not. Serbs said the same thing about the Muslims while they were firing their heavy weapons into the civilian areas. You and the likes of you are an insult to humanity. With people like you around there will not be peace. If GCs have any intention of peace the likes of you need to be repatriated to Lesbos Island, where you originated from.

Another incoherent reply from the village idiot.!

Stick to the topic fool. You yourself admitted, that positioning these murdered victims in the bathtub was designed to bring Turkey into Cyprus from day one of the conflict in 1963, so what was to stop the TMT from actually committing these murders to reach their objectives. After all, you can't make an omelette unless you break few eggs, can you.???

More information from AFRIKA on the bathroom massacre incident. Turkish Cypriot daily AFRIKA newspaper (28.02.07) reports in its first page that there is new information on the issue of the bathroom massacre incident. (TR. Note: The incident took place in 1963, where a Turkish Cypriot family was found dead in the bathroom of its house. The Turkish Cypriot side supports that the family was killed by Greek Cypriot guerrillas). AFRIKAs columnist Sener Levent reports, inter alia, in his daily Column Point of View that there is the need to clarify this issue. Mr Levent goes on and writes that the paper received two more pieces of information on this issue yesterday: The first one is related to Hasan Kudum who was hurt during the bathroom massacre incident but he did not lose his life. Asked by his friends if those who came to kill them spoke between them Greek or Turkish, Hasan Kudum stated: There were persons who spoke Greek and there were persons who spoke Turkish. The second information is related to a person who was known under the name Bozkurt (Grey wolf) and later it was found out that his real name was Kenan Coskun. Nihat Ilhan, whose wife and three children were killed in the incident, went to Kenan Coskun and asked him: Has the organisation killed my family in order to secure the intervention of Turkey in the island?. The answer given by Kenan Coskun and bothered Nihat Ilhan was the following: Go and take revenge. He did not tell him from where to take revenge, writes Sener Levent. (CS)

So this carcinogenic imbecile is now including my relatives in his atrocities. I've told you before Yfronts. The only atrocity my family will ever be involved with will be your death when you set foot on this island. North or south you're going to be history.
