Did anyone see that progamme on ITV the other day with Trevor Macdonald concerning Cyprus? It was about the land situation and English people buying houses out there and having problems. There was an old lady who had lived out there with her husband until he had died and she recently got news that a Greek Cypriot man who claimed to own the land before '74 wanted his land back. He took her to Greek Cypriot court wanting her to demolish her house and pool, pay 2 years rent and return the land to the state it was before '74 (which was a lemon tree farm). The court said she had to do it but because greek ruling means nothing on the North hes taking her to British court!
What do you all think? I cant quite decide where I stand on this!
