A few decades back I remember some guy who kept pouring used car oil waste in different spots of his plot of land over a period of a year or two, and then took a potential buyer who was looking to build, to the site asking for a ridiculous sum while apologizing for all the “mysterious mud” that would of course get cleared up once the digger gets to work!

So, the fool paid for the ridiculous sum thinking he struck oil at the former owner’s ignorance, but got him arrested a few months later when the idiot wasted the rest of his money trying to pump what wasn’t there!
