New age travellers are not connected to the Gypsy fraternity although they do emulate (or try to) them.

Some of the finest people I know are of Gypsy origin and I am sure they too often are held responsible for the misdemeanours of those that falsely assume their identities.

We had a couple of friends when we were yong kids, who were gypsies, they were very nice, they never did steal from us (apart from my older brothers socks) but we laughed about that!
The people who are doing this to my property, if it were taking place in the uk, i would class them as new age travellers, you only have to read thelocal papers to see what these buggers get up to.

The thing to remember is that when YOUR house was being built, the trades people working on it must’ve been getting power from one of your other neighbors too, so it’s something that everyone has done to erect a house.

Finally, power tools don’t consume much power so relax.
What a load of 'Bullshit'; it's theft, and the point about when your house was being built is that it wasn't your house but the builders until completion.
Electricity companys will supply on site power at a cost it's just that your mates the thieving builders think that everyone is a mug.

With the greatest respect (and I fully appreciate your problem) I think I would be inclined to discuss the matter with the builders before taking any action against them.

Prior to any such discussion, I would seek the opinion of some person who can identify precisely what the position is regarding your supply (whether or not it is being tapped) without involving any official source.

I do hope everything pans out well for you.
