UK provisional driving licence valid in Republic of Cyprus?

Does a UK provisional driving licence legally entitle one to to drive with an accompanying driver in Cyprus? (not talking about the driving test)

no your nto allowed u need a full license and to be 18... i know in england its 17 to pass so even if u have full license u need to wait until ur 18.. unless u already are over 18

I checked, this is true. You are not allowed to drive in Cyprus till you are 18 years of age. Even if you have a full driven license at 17, the law does not allow it until you are 18.

that would be sweet if u could.. then go to america get a full license at 16 and come drive here lol

question: who is checking driving licence in Cyprus? when you faced such a check?

the police have random checks they have police on the high ways and on the roads espesially on weekends and they check ;)

I am driving in Cyprus/Greece for 32 years. I have never been asked to show my driving licence-exept one time in Cyprus for a a speed of 70km/hr

yeah mostly on the weekend they stop you for random alcohol test and they ask for license ive been stopped way more times but usually they dont stop u unless u give them a reason to.....

but its not worth risking it

I was asked to show my drivers licence at a police check point at 3 am in the morning, 5 minutes after we left Larnaca airport driving to the hotel in 2007, after being absent from Cyprus for 43 years.!

How did they know I was a TC.? :lol: :lol: :lol:
