UK provisional driving licence valid in Republic of Cyprus?

Feel free to talk about anything that you want.

I checked, this is true. You are not allowed to drive in Cyprus till you are 18 years of age. Even if you have a full driven license at 17, the law does not allow it until you are 18.

Presuming one is 18 and over obviously. I did not mention age because it is not an issue.

According to this:
http://www.cyprusdriving.net/driving/Vi ... cences.php
provisional licences are only valid in the country of issue.

Is anyone able to confirm this or point me in the direction of an official source?

I am driving in Cyprus/Greece for 32 years. I have never been asked to show my driving licence-exept one time in Cyprus for a a speed of 70km/hr

I was asked to show my drivers licence at a police check point at 3 am in the morning, 5 minutes after we left Larnaca airport driving to the hotel in 2007, after being absent from Cyprus for 43 years.!

How did they know I was a TC.?

From the smell?!!!!ok i wait the bullets...

If you never smelled a TC before, then what makes you think that they actually smell.?

Are we to assume that you make statement without knowing what it is that you are talking about, because it sounds to me like you are a clueless individual, therefore all your posts will be treated in the same manner from here on.!
