Viewpoint you are entitled to your opinion.
There is no way to prove you right or wrong on a personal basis, and on your sentimental conclusions.

never mind

moosey said it all

anyway unless you personally manage to start one, there will be no war.

hey why dont you run for president then you can start one.

We? manage to start a war?

TR has always been provocative:
- "If you bring S300 in Cyprus, we will attack"
- "If you enter EU, we will attack"
- Strovilia Case
- Imia Case
- Numerous violations of Greek air space by turkish air force.

Sometimes I wonder.... what if Greek airforce shoot down a plane of the turkish airforce the time it violates the greek airspace? :?

Now you really are promoting distortion of truth...

If the S300s were here and installed, do you not think that Turkish reconnaisance would have spotted them?

...who says S300 are not in Cy?

Kifeas, ever heard of Paisios?
He ones said: "I Poli tha ginei pali diki sas, horis to aima sas" (horis polemo ennoouse)*
I am reading a book about Paisios and his prophesies and I know a guy who saw and spoke to him before he died. Paisios advised him about a problem he had, and told him what will happen, before he even say anything to Paisios about this problem.

*"Costantinoupolis will be yours again, without having to give your blood for it" (without war)

Is not the quantity that counts but the quality!
I speak with facts and evidence.

I also believe that Quality counts and not Quantity.

Another example, CY becoming an EU member.
A country that has been through a war, a country under occupation, little CY managed to become an EU member whereas the most powerful country in the Middle East, as Murtaza mentioned, is 40+ years still in the queue to become a member - if she finally manages to do so...

First off we don’t really care that much for the eu.

Turkey wishes to westernize, that’s fine, but if the eu doesn’t want that, then that’s fine too, we wont lose sleep.

For a small country like cyprus to join the eu its no major deal. Cyprus can easily be absorbed, but for a country the size of turkey it’s a different game altogether.

The French objection imo is based on her international influence, or declining influence. If turkey joins the French will lose their position in the pecking order of things, and France is fearful that a german, british and turkish alliance will dominate eu policy.

Why are you guys making such is big thing out of this, Cyprus’s best chance of exerting pressure on turkey is if turkey joins the eu, and complies with eu requiremetns, not that cyprus does but anyway.

Ive said all along that Asia will become the power economy of the next century. If eu wants turkey to join that block then that’s ok. Eu has first refusal on turkey, personally I feel turkey will benefit more from Asia. the eu will score an own goal if it allows turkey to strengthen Asia, rather than Europe but that’s up to them.
