cant wait for the sparks to fly as little "RoC" take on massive Turkey and tries to break off as many concessions as possible for maximalist demands or will the GC adminstration have the balls to veto and take the consequences....

This is what I call typical Kemalist ideological attitude. The attitude of the bully who threatens his neighbours by using its size and military power! "The sparks will fly when little "RoC" takes on massive Turkey." I am the big and strong thus I must have my way and the lion's share and you must obey because you are the little and weak.

Viewpoint! We are not afraid! We will do what we have to do at any given time and we are not scared by the size and "power" of Turkey. Perhaps we were in 1974 and some several years after. Not any more! And not because of the EU! We are in perfect shape and stage in which to face very effectively any new Turkish adventurism against the south. Be it in the air, in the sea, or on the ground. Mama Türka knows that very well! In fact, I will be very surprised if Mama Türka would dare such a thing, knowing how important role their "prestige" plays for them. She would rather prefer to commit suicide than risk its prestige - especially the military one.

Another Kifeas provacation guys...

a KIFEAS provocation!? Detailer...you did not read what VP said? Just the kind of typical CLASSLESS remarks and atitude from nationalist Turks we have come to be aware of.

Let me ask you something...you many TC here actually agree with the points of view of VP?

And kifeas's remarks are just plain childish and are antagonistic at best that serve only to agitate people but his we are prepared for war type of mentality just makes me sick to the pits of my stomach that he can even think that way, so much for maturity.

Kifeas is repeating this "GC tank" business every day. I think that is a provacation. In this post, he is saying that GC can answer any !Turkish attack! This is such ridiculous that no need to answer! There are 3 options why he is saying that:

1) He is so emotionally sure about the power of GC army that he really believes what he is saying!
2) He knows what he says is ridiculuous but he wants to provacate some nationalist reactions among TC/Turkish members of the forum so he knows who is thinking what.
3)May be a bit from each above.

I personally think that it is 2) option because he seems a very self-controlled person to me.

VP's opinions are sometimes "strong" for me too, and this post is one of them.

Well done kifeas, you have managed to conjure up the nationalistic, violence and hate in some of the GC on the forum, but just so you know you have influenced a child of barely 16.

Is this what you do in your free time aswell around cyprus, tell the youth the ROC will buy tanks and fight the turks because you are the powerful ROC thats ready for the bad turks.
Well good luck with your recruitment drive, you, already got Demetriou ready to fight the bad turks to the last man.

This is a romantic and comic idea. Just Think If your father did what you said.

There would be no Greek race.

If you think that's true, you're more stupid than we all thought... in war, most soldiers don't even fire their weapons in order to preserve their own lives. Do you really think that every last Cypriot soldier would fight to the death? In the movies maybe, not in reality.

Brother!

Can you explain to me what you understand from this posting?
Can you not interpret it as a threat?

Of course to be fair, VP explained later that this is not what is meant. However, I interpreted it as a threat and I replied accordingly, before the explanation came out.

Brother, you seem to be very picky with me lately!

I am picky with the mention of war, full stop.

But your attitude of two wrongs make a right and blurting out this war monger song really crawls down my throat and dies, especially when kids like Demetriou get influenced by it.

Either stand by them words and recruit like you have done or never utter them again and influence the kids into thinking war is a good thing.

But whatever you do let it be the real kifeas because i hate fakes.
