Fraggle - no room for media in the hot tub... definitely not...

Jerry - I am sure I will survive without Facebook! I have friends who are addicted to it but I just laugh at their troubles and embarassments when engagin with people or putting pictures on public view.... I find it very entertaining listening to their stories of written abuse!

Well facebook is ideal for many here as there are lots of simple games to play. :D But Myspace is better if you want to customise your page thou.

myspace is brillient too, i lately deleted my account due to privacy settings problems, in facebook you control who sees your profile and you only puplish what you want for non friends on myspace you get to hide only few info not all ! it might not be a big deal but if ya had a myspace stalker its almost impossible to get red of them...

Even in the real world, finding genuine friends is very difficult as most are certainly not in it because they are you friend or wish to be your friend, but simply because they want something from you. I learned this very quickly with people, as everybody had a hidden agenda for you, and I noticed friends somehow cost me money. True friends don't cost money, and simply want to spend time with you, but they are very rare.

Having said that, the friends gathered on Social Networks don't go to expensive nights outs, it's just a free "hello, how are you?".

...and there is always room for more hello's! It's a fact of modern life that people are more suspicious of other's intentions and always on guard and alert to being either scammed or ridiculed. However, you can't be defensive all the time or you will never have any fun! So, I stay open to the possibility that new friendships can occur at any moment and should be embraced with a passion... no time to waste!

What a total waste of time.

Facebook or Twitter are of no interest to me. I am one of those who do not have a facebook account, and I never will. It is pathetic!

How mind numbing...

I have a twitter account. Twitter is an excellent service and I guarantee it's not a waste of time. I use twitter to keep in the know about things in the world of the web. It's wonderful. I don't know how one can call this a waste of time.
