Miltiades you blooming sycophantic fake ... you've just been telling everybody else how there is no GOD and that Muslims stink and then blow themselves up and now you are wishing this bunch "Ramazanin"!

Such is the “intelligent” nature of the classic hypocrite!

Deniz think about it. 'Christ' comes from the Greek word 'Christos' meaning 'anointed one'. Taking the 'Christ' out of 'Christmas' and replacing it with 'X' is kind of like recognition of the celebration but not of Jesus' divinity.

I came across the following analysis of Turkish Cypriots' attitudes towards their religion and observance of the holy month of Ramadan:

http://portal.kibris.net/index.php?opti ... &Itemid=27

TRANSLATION

The Turks of Cyprus live out their religious faith internally in a manner that befits modern people. If those who claim that the Turks of Cyprus are not religious were to investigate the number of Turkish Cypriots who fast during the month of Ramadan, they would be incapable of believing it.
The Turks of Cyprus, due to their being modern, secular and educated, are aware that praying five times per day is impossible under contemporary living conditions. Nor do they think that their religious faith will be tarnished by the way they dress.
They may well not go to the mosque outside religious festivals but, on average, they fast as much as Anatolian people during Ramadan. They do this not out of peer pressure, but as a requirement of their faith. Their only difference from Anatolian Muslims is that they live out their religion internally and view all kinds of faith with tolerance. The most significant thing is that the idea of joining religious brotherhoods and mixing religion with business never even occurs to them.
Just for this reason, even though they are fasting, they do not hesitate in the month of Ramadan to share a table with friends who are drinking alcohol. They break their fast with them and do not criticise those who are not fasting or who drink alcohol. It is precisely for this reason that they fail to understand how all of the religious leaders of aid organisations like ‘Lighthouse’ can steal the money of pious and pure Muslims.
If a comparison must be drawn, we can liken the manner in which the TRNC people live out their religious faith to the life style of the Alevis, who live out Islam in a modern way and organise their faith in accordance with worldly conditions.
