Is there a cozy wine bar or club where 40+ aged people can meet, chat and enjoy some good music? I will staying on my own in Protaras area soon and want to plan my social schedule a little... I will be staying at my old favorite, Grecian Park Hotel, which has a delightful cliff top bar and the poolside hotel bar is very good too but I want to venture out if possible! Any help would be appreciated.

I know I am impatient.... but I am guessing that there is no such place.... that would be too easy wouldn't it! Well, one way or the other, I will find a place to relax and meet new friends but if anyone has any ideas, post them here!

Go down to the bar, ask the barman/barmaid for a cube of ice.

Find the most beautiful lady in the bar (might be two or three as they always hunt in packs)

Start breaking the ice cube by hitting it with your shoe.

When they say what are you doing that for........

Tell 'em you're just breaking the ice

Try psycho's bar/restaurant; that is in Protaras.

Sorry! My fault for not being clear - 'psycho' posts on here and the name of his bar is 'Nameless' unless of course he has actually engaged his braincells and thought of a name!

Ah! Thanks for clarifying... I thought "Psycho Bar" was a bit strange.... "Nameless", although not very imaginative, is a better title... I'll try it out.

Go down to Sirena Bay. It has a chill out lounge on the beach. Very trendy...very jazzy.
