They're very nice on a hot summer evening provided you can keep the mosquito's away.

Sorry to hear that you've been bitten. They seem to like some people more than others.

How do they know? Do we come in different flavours?

A daily dose of complex B vitamins for you then ... or lots of Marmite if you love the stuff! (Yum :D )

I'm still trying to work out why some people get bit and some don't, it erks me and unfortunately i hate Marmite and Deet. I better get off this thread though. I'm not helping Chandresh with his planning permission.

Although I am partial to the odd twiglet, hmmm.

Here is my cure to keep mosquitoes away. A bottle of red or white or a little more at night keeps them away , mosquitoes hate the smell of alcohol or the taste of blood with alcohol.
I works for me all the time when in Cyprus , they never come near me !!

I'd say avoid sweet things and parfume. That includes melon and watermelon.

I wonder if diabetics get attacked more than non-diabetics? :?

The mosquitos never attack real Cypriots, they only attack the foreigners. They seem to know who is who?
