We are fooling ourselves if we think that de facto partition is not part a) of the final game plan with a total takeover of the island being the ultimate goal. No matter what we do and what the settlement plan says, the turkification of the north has slid past the point of no return. Changes in the demographic makeup of the population, the changes in place names, in the education system and a host of other facets of social organization show this is how things are.

There is no valid reason to think that a settlement will lead to reintegration of one Cyprus. It will simply give Turkey the chance to reinforce and legalise the process while building claims on the whole island. At some point those claims will become louder and no doubt supported by the usual friends and allies, will assume the status of "legal and valid" claims.

.

So true Nikitas!

And the worst thing of all is that our silly leaders have been engaging the Turks and assisting them to legalise their gains...the end result could very well be the loss of the whole island.

And to top it all off, we have the apologists who in the end will be our final destruction, which means the war thesis, at the right time and at the most opportune moment could well be our only chance for salvation and survival on the island.....

Now this is all very easy for someone as far away as Australia to say....but when it comes to the survival of our civilization on the island, I will be over there in a flash...

And one ugly fat Greek flies back to Aussieland in a body bag.

If that be the case, then I would rather stay and be buried in my homeland, within the same soil as my forebears.

There are many more worse things than death, the Turks taking Cyprus is one of them...

I don't understand this, if Cyprus is so precious to you then what the hell are you doing in Australia? When was the last time you visited Cyprus? How often do you visit Cyprus?

Your problem is not that you love Cyprus, it is because you failed miserably in your attempt to annihilate us and got your ass kicked. Listen fat ugly one, you are safe where you are, just stay put and keep climbing the bridge, you may lose some weight after a couple of hundred climbs.

First of all, I was in Cyprus just the other week. Will be in Cyprus again for a few days at the end of the year from either London or UAE. I visit the island on average every 2 years, own my own house there and am preparing to purchase another home.

Furthermore, neither I or my family have ever harmed any TCs and neither do I desire to annihilate anyone. What I desire is to see my homeland whole again without the likes of you infringing upon the human rights of Cypriots by forcibly dividing the island and restricting our human rights freedoms.

Cyprus belongs to me (temporarily in this life time), and to other Cypriots like me. We will not stand by and let Turkey obtain a footprint on Cyprus at our expense, and if you haven't got that through your thick head in the last 35 years, then you are a lost cause.

...and my weight is just fine thank you. I have spent a lifetime keeping fit...and I may well still need to use this fitness.

The Turkish Army and the neo partitionists need to be reminded every now and then Kiks...in the end we Cypriots will prevail just like we have always done so over the last 10,000 years...injustice will be quashed one way or another....

You need a new fitness instructor mate

What the Greeks want is "YES MEN" like Kikapu and Deniz, these 2 are the champions of arselicking, as soon soon as you get TCs that go against the grain you show you arrogance and your sick complex of superiority.

Mate, get used to it, we are Cypriots, we have our rights and the right to be on the island and nobody can take that away from us. You tried in 63 and 74 and got a bloody nose so behave.

One more thing, as long as you shout at the top of your voice that us TCs "ARE NOT CYPRIOTS" you will keep inviting trouble for the island of Cyprus. Once you accept this fact then we can all live in peace.

I know Kikapu and Deniz would not be bothered with you shouting we are not Cypriots and still suck up to you but those 2 are an exception to the rule.

What we Cypriots want are other Cypriots like Kikapu and Deniz who respect the rule of law, human rights and democracy.

What we Cypriots don't want are Turks like you who want derogations from what is universally accepted as human rights, justice and democracy.

You are only a Cypriot if you do not subscribe to ideals which do not fall in line with internationally accepted human rights and democracy as enshrined within the UN and EU.

Since you support derogations which will infringe on the human rights of Cypriots, then you are a Turk and not a Cypriot.

I will be more than happy to call you a Cypriot as soon as you respect human rights, freedom of movement, one man one vote and condemn the Turkish occupation of the Cypriot homeland...until then you are a Turk.

The choice is yours!

Both Kikapu and Deniz know I mean them no harm and would be very happy to have them as my neighbor and within my house amongst my family. They are my Cypriot brothers (family) and you are not.

Mr-from-NG I'd be bringing this up with talat and his regime. As far as I know it was the high command that ordered the re-branding of Turkish Cypriots into Turks of Cyprus recently.

Halil has more details.

Hi DT, nice to hear from you. IF I wanted to be amongst Turks I would live in Turkey. The high command can ask what they like it cant change facts, how can they or I call myself anything other than Cypriot. I don't even use the stupid surname they imposed on me abbot 10 years ago.

My passport and utility bills are all under my real name, not some made up fucking name imposed on me by the fucking morons in Ankara.
