Attacks on tourists in Paphos

Postby ken19 » Wed Aug 19, 2009 2:33 pm

I've just read on trip advisor that there have been a number of attacks on groups of tourists.
If this is true has anyone been arrested by the police and charged.

What are the places in Paphos to avoid so as to be safe.

Just avoid the main tourist areas and you'll be fine. :)

Its much safer than most UK towns at 2am saturday and sunday morning.

If you want to stay safe don't tip 10 gallons of lager down your neck and stagger around the streets after midnight.

Just be cautious in Bar Street after 11, you should be fine. Generally, much safer than the UK.

A load of drunk Brits on a stag night who didn't do anything (?) were subject to an unprovoked (?) attack by 50 Cypriots armed with baseball bats (a game that isn't played in Cyprus).

You work it out!

Tourists attacked in Pafos,

Answer: -

Avoid the main tourist areas!

What a load of effing rubbish

If the tourists have to avoid the main tourist areas they might just as well not come here.
