To be honest Iran are a clear threat to middle eastern peace (as i have established many of times), but im glad to see that they are willing to co-operate with the UN & be stop there nuclear plans. A clear indication they are willing to take a peaceful approach... lets hope this will last (if not then there arses are gonna get blitzed sooner or later)!!!!

Most people believe in the right of self-defence. Most people subscribe to the idea of deterrence. The US does, the UK does, Russia does, Israel does and so does NATO.

There is a country in the Middle East surrounded by potentially hostile powers which also believes in the right of self-defence and believes in the principle of deterrence. It is Israel. Israel has nuclear weapons and has the biggest nuclear armoury in the Middle East, refuses to open its nuclear facilities to international inspection, refuses the supervision of the IAEA, and is not a party to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

There is a another country in the Middle East surrounded by potentially hostile powers which also believes in the right of self-defence and belives in the principle of deterrence. This country however is surrounded by nuclear-armed powers - USA, Russia, China, Pakistan, and Israel. Why shouldn't this particular state also have nuclear weapons to ensure its self-defence and to act as a deterrent to neighbourly aggression ?
