T/Cs with RoC-passport staying in the occupied areas, paying taxes to "TRNC" and in many other ways (even through military service) supporting the illegal occupation of part of RoC, while at the same time having complaints against the RoC have some nerve. They are lucky not to be put in prison upon crossing the green line, as they are bound to be in breach of several RoC laws.

We thank the lord for such good fortune and for the RoC for being so understanding, old chap. What would we do without that?

Get stuffed. Let the RoC take a single TC to court and then see what happens. You wan a lose one more third?

What that? A motto taught in your schools? Do you walk around different countries of the world and threaten them with losing 1/3 of their country everytime you don't get what you ordered?

I'll give you a third Yfred. The longest third.

Well well well. Take a single TC to court on account of not paying tax to RoC or joining the TC NG and then we'll see who gives which third to whom, old chap.

I already know the GC's that are planning to take your ass to court. You've been sitting on GC property for way too long yfronts. Its made you fat and arrogant.

I look forward to the final faze of this here so called "Cyprus Problem".
How ironic that you should describe TCs as exactly how you yourselves have become after sitting on the hijacked RoC for so long, receiving all the help or the last 35 years. Careful where you park your ass old boy, your chair may give up on you. Or worst still Runaway may have beaten you to sitting in that chair.
Now, that will be a nice surprise for you, on account of your Greek heritage and all that.

What does it take to become a "civil servant" these days Yfronts? I heard your family being so close to denktash through your little grey wolves club have all the right connections.

Can you just remind the forum how many GCs and TCs your grandfather killed again? While you are at it, perhaps you can explain what favours he recieved from the RoC for his heroic activity in the mafia called Eoka as a Cappo, or was he the underboss, or perhaps the conciliery?
Strange thing is that's exactly the same that the TMT members recieved from TRNC. It is just incredible how close the two communities are.

As far as YFred clan is concerened, unfortunately they missed out on that little gravy train. They weren't as clever as your clan. But the saving grace is they went to their graves with a clear concience and so will I, when my time is up. Can you and yours say the same?
Hell they can, and Hell is where they are.

Milt

Look the bankers told the government they need a couple of billion pounds or they, The Banks would be skint. Sure says the govt here well borrow some from somewhere, the tax payer can pay the interest.

The voters ask for jobs or else they lose their homes and the govt say……….er yeah sorry about that.

40% of the worlds wealth is in the hands of 5% of its people, mainly The Corporate empires and mega rich, (the mega rich being the only ones, rich enough to finance the world banks). Now one can safely assume that with this latest world recession banks do what they make the quickest money doing i.e. repossessing.

Now that figure of 40% increases another few percent.

Milt wake up for f sake.

The Corporations and Mega Rich get what they want. The voters get a poke in the eye.
Who is running the country?…..The Democratically Elected Government or those who pull their strings.

Wake up Milt, your idea of democracy has been got at, its been knobbled. Unfortunately I know of no better system of rule (cept for a Dictator with the heart and wisdom of Solomon). But that doesn’t mean I am going to believe all they bollox they feed us.

I think at 63 years old and a businessman for almost 40 years I ought to know a few things about our democratic capitalist institutions .
Democracy is not the perfect system because a perfect system has never been put together and I doubt if it ever will.
Its best of what we have and it is worth fighting for when faced with the alternative , dictatorship or even far worst a dictatorial theocratic system that has its origins in medieval times.
When people ask the same question that you have posed , ie who runs the country , the answer is always the same. The democratically elected members of Parliament , ie the government.
In the West there is democracy , it doesn't always work for the benefit of the people but decisions regarding fundamental policies are taken by democratically elected parliamentarians.
Our democratic system works , most of the time.

Thats right grey wolf. If you're that fascinated with my grandfather, he never hurt a soul.

I do have family members that have been slaughtered by Turks and TC's if you're that curious about my family. WOuld you like me to list them?

As I said, you're not going to like what comes next. I'm very different to my family.
